Relevant backer/pledge information you get from Kickstarter following your campaign is a backer's email, username, pledge total, shipping country, and reward type. This information can be accessed any time after your campaign has closed via the backer report page in your Kickstarter project dashboard. You can export all backer/reward groups together or individually as .zip and .csv formats.

We recommend uploading backer data to Crowd Control using a backer report that was created after the 14 day payment window has closed. Backer reports created within 14-days of your campaign ending can have some incomplete backer information that may cause problems during the survey process.

Crowd Control supports .csv backer reports from Indiegogo and .zip or .csv backer reports from Kickstarter. Backer groups with ‘no reward’ from Kickstarter are not currently saved within Crowd Control.

You can sync/upload new data to a project at any time. Be sure you select the appropriate project from the dropdown menu if you are managing multiple projects within Crowd Control.

Kickstarter reward groups are named after their respective file names by default. You can edit these names as desired after upload. These names are for admin use only and are not seen by your backers.

Indiegogo perk group names are based on the default names within your backer report csv. You can edit these names as desired after upload. These names are for admin use only and are not seen by your backers.
