1. There are three, identical survey template options available for customization. In general, one template option can be used for each Crowd Control project. Customizing additional templates can be useful if there are overlapping crowdfunding campaigns.

2. While not all settings require customization, reviewing all survey template settings is recommended to guarantee the expected survey experience. Surveys can be fully previewed and tested in the following step.

3. Some stores may benefit from hiding certain elements of their theme that could cause backers to deviate from their survey (e.g. navigation or icons). These details can be hidden from the survey via general > hide theme elements. Please contact Crowd Control Support if you need assistance with this task.

Custom coding of the template is available for qualifying crowdfunding projects.

4. The widget page can be customized via the top navigation.

5. Once you have completed the customization, click save, mark the template as correct, then click continue to finalize the survey template customization. All survey collections will have the option to select and customize a survey template.

6. The survey template editor can be accessed at any time by clicking update your reward template at the bottom of the Surveys page in the app. Any changes made to the template will be applied to all surveys using the selected template.
